Empowering Education: Guideship CEO’s Heartfelt Contributions to Shishu Shiksha Niketan School
Mr. Rohit Agarwal, the CEO of Guideship Consultancy Services, recently paid a visit to Shishu Shiksha Niketan School in Alang. This school, situated in the heart of Alang, serves as a ray of hope for the children of laborers in the ship recycling industry and the nearby villages.
During his visit, Mr. Agarwal generously donated various items to enhance the educational and recreational experiences of the students. Among the contributions were 9 footballs and 3 pairs of goalkeeper gloves from the renowned NIVIA brand, enriching the school’s sports facilities. Additionally, he provided 3 sets of computer keyboards and mice, fostering digital literacy among the students.
Recognizing the importance of geographical knowledge, Mr. Agarwal gifted a set of 7 Indian and World maps, covering both political and physical aspects. To support early learning, he also presented an educational chart set containing 22 items in bilingual – with each word in Hindi and English.
In line with the school’s mission to promote reading, Mr. Agarwal contributed 88 books in Hindi. These books included moral stories, biographies of thought leaders, Indian scientists, tales from Indian mythology, and works on Indian freedom fighters. This diverse collection aims to inspire and educate the young minds attending Shishu Shiksha Niketan School.
The timing of these gifts was particularly significant, as they were presented on the auspicious occasion of Swami Vivekananda Jayanti. This aligns with Swami Vivekananda’s teachings, emphasizing the crucial role of education, character-building, and the overall development of youth.
