DGMA Digitises Nautical Grade Mark Sheets on E-Exam Portal

MUMBAI: In a significant push towards digital governance and examination transparency, the Directorate General of Maritime Administration (DGMA) has made digitally signed mark sheets available online for Nautical Grade candidates.

According to an official notice issued on Monday by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, candidates who have been awarded Certificates of Competency (CoCs) from July 2026 onwards can now access and download their official mark sheets directly from the portal.

The initiative is part of the maritime administration’s broader agenda to advance comprehensive examination reforms and streamline the certification process for seafarers. By transitioning to digitally signed records, the authority aims to eliminate administrative delays, simplify verification, and provide candidates with secure, convenient, and permanent access to their academic files.

The notice, signed by Capt. Mahadev Dhandhiya, Nautical Surveyor-cum-DDG (Tech.), advised all eligible candidates to log into the E-Examination Portal at exams.dgma.gov.in using their respective credentials to retrieve their mark sheets for future professional and regulatory reference.
