Milestone Decisions Unveiled at Deendayal Port Authority’s Special Board Meeting: Training for Raw Workers -Warehouse Expansion

The first special board meeting of the country’s long-standing Dindayal Port Authority, along with the fifth general meeting, was held with Port Chairman S.K. Mehta presided over this meeting. Chairman Nandish Shukla, Customs Commissioner M. Sachit Sushilkumar Singh of Virtual Shipping Ministry along with Rammohan Rao and Naval Officer-in-Charge K. Sudeep Malik was present. Decisions were taken including giving a four-year grace period to the two Harbal cranes and three grabs currently in operation. Unions including the Skilled and Unskilled Workers’ Association expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Veljibhai Jat while welcoming the decision to train raw workers in the Remrah.
