Additionally, ships have been departing from the port as a safety measure, and more are scheduled to leave on Monday. Port officials and ship owners have been advised to remain vigilant.

The impact of the cyclone has also been felt in Mumbai and coastal parts of Maharashtra, with heavy rains and strong winds being reported. The intensity of the cyclone has led to a decrease in air quality and visibility due to the presence of dust particles. Some trees have fallen in Mumbai due to the gusty winds.

In Ganpatipule town, located in the coastal Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra, tourists were caught off guard by huge waves hitting the beach with a strong current. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported in this incident.
