A significant portion of India’s container traffic, about 33 percent, passes through Mundra Port, contributing immensely to the state and national revenue. Since its inception, the port has injected over Rs 2.25 lakh crore into the economy.

Spanning over 35,000 acres, Mundra Port is the largest commercial port in India. Its facilities include the largest terminals for coal, natural gas, and automobiles. With deep draft and all-weather capabilities, the port ensures efficient cargo handling and minimal turnaround time.
Moreover, Mundra Port has been at the forefront of eco-friendly initiatives, undertaking activities such as mangrove afforestation and conservation. The port has planted a staggering 17.5 million trees across approximately 6,000 hectares and plans to plant an additional 4 million trees by 2030, further exemplifying its commitment to sustainable practices and environmental conservation.
